Port logistics specialists inspect incoming and outgoing cargo and plan the onward transport of goods – a key role in cargo handling. We tailor the qualification to your needs: either as a two-year retraining program or as a modular concept that flexibly integrates into daily operations. Both paths conclude with the external examination before the Industrie- und Handelskammer.

This qualification is aimed at employees who have entered the port from other fields and now want to formally document their skills. In 56 days – plus 19 internship days – we teach cargo and handling technology, cargo securing, and the loading and unloading of seagoing and inland vessels. The program is complemented by IT, communication, and English. After passing the examination before the Industrie- und Handelskammer, participants receive the advanced training certificate (IHK) as Port Operative. Funding through the Agentur für Arbeit is possible.

In logistics, career paths are rarely linear: Many employees have worked successfully in the warehouse for years without holding the appropriate qualification. We close exactly this gap. In a total of 65 days we prepare your employees for the external examination to become a Warehouse Logistics Specialist before the Industrie- und Handelskammer. Funding through the Agentur für Arbeit under the Qualifizierungschancengesetz is possible – we are happy to advise you on this.

Together with AHV we offer in Hamburg the advancement qualification to become a Certified Logistics Master IHK. In 18 months your employees prepare part-time alongside their jobs for the examination before the Industrie- und Handelskammer – without any downtime at the company. Funding under the Aufstiegsfortbildungsförderungsgesetz (AFBG, „Meister-BAföG“) is possible.
