Cancellation Policy

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ma-co maritimes competenzcentrum GmbH, Köhlbranddeich 30, 20457 Hamburg, Germany, phone: +49 40 756082-0, fax: +49 40 756082-620, email: anmeldung@ma-co.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement. If you requested that services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the point at which you notified us of your withdrawal from this contract, compared to the total scope of services provided for under the contract.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires for a contract for the supply of digital content or the provision of services if we begin performance of the contract with your express consent, and you have confirmed your awareness that, by consenting to the commencement of performance, you lose your right of withdrawal in relation to the digital content and the service.
