GWO First Aid - Refresher

The objective of the GWO-certified First Aid BST module is to enable participants to recognize the signs and symptoms of life-threatening situations and to provide safe and effective first aid in the wind turbine industry/wind turbine environment in order to save lives and prevent further injury until the victim can be handed over to the emergency services. Upon successful completion of this BST Working at Heights Refresher module, participants will refresh their ability to act safely and responsibly when using personal protective equipment, working at height, and performing comprehensive basic rescues from height in a remote wind turbine environment (Ability, intermediate level). Note: The course content is generally written in English. The language of instruction is also usually English. However, if the group of participants consists exclusively of German speakers, the lessons will be held in German. The course content will remain in English.
