Enclosed and Confined Spaces Training for Seafarers

To achieve a standardised approach towards working in enclosed and confined spaces including rescue operations. The training focusses on practical training elements. - Procedures, risk assesments, pre-checks, Permits to Work and toolbox talks when working in confined spaces or re-instate enclosed spaces - Entry of Enclosed / Confined Spaces incl. check-in / check-out procedures - Clearance measurement and (de-)contamination check of confined spaces (theoretical and practical training) - PPE and related equipment (e.g. harness, anchor points, tri-pod, crance etc.) - Practical training / implementation of strategies when entering enclosed spaces and re-instatement of spaces - Leadership & communication (communication between operations management, teams and OSC) - Delegate will be assessed in their ability to assign teams / crew members to enclosed / confined space operations
