The 2-day basic training course is designed to teach proper handling and the safe use of fall protection equipment in accordance with DGUV R 112-198/199 (Personal Protective Equipment Against Falls).
This equipment protects users in all work areas and traffic routes where there is a risk of falling. Employees must receive appropriate instruction before using the equipment for the first time (and as needed). Subsequently, the legally required training must be repeated at least once a year; after that, it is no longer valid. This course teaches participants the theoretical fundamentals of occupational safety regulations, the necessary technical knowledge, and the hazards that can arise from the improper use of PFPE. Depending on workplace conditions (risk assessment, work situation), situationspecific rescue drills may also be conducted to impart the necessary knowledge required for handling personal protective equipment in daily work life.
