Basic Safety Training acc. STCW

All seafarers who are members of the ship’s crew, regardless of their role on board, are required to complete basic safety training and acquire basic knowledge of shipboard security, consisting of the following components in accordance with STCW: Contents: - Personal Survival Techniques (Table A-VI/1-1) - Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (Table A-VI/1-2) - Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (Table A-VI/1-4) - Elementary First Aid (Table A-VI/1-3) - Security-Related Training (Table A-VI/6-1 and Table A-VI/6-2) Among other facilities, ma-co has a training ship, several fire containers, and a boat facility for immediate application of what you have learned. Our trainers and experts are firefighters in leadership positions, pilots, captains, or nautical/technical officers. Please bring work clothes or weather-resistant clothing and sturdy shoes for the practical exercises. Swimwear is required for the exercises in the swimming pool.
